During our 2024-25 season, we will be offering classes on Tuesdays at Tansley Woods Community Centre and Saturdays at varying community centres in Burlington, ON.
CLASS OPTIONS
LEARN TO TWIRL
Our Learn to Twirl (LTT) classes are introductory classes aimed at allowing children and adults to enjoy and learn basic baton twirling skills. This upbeat class is fun for all involved and supports positive interaction in a group environment. Adult LTT classes are also designed for retired athletes who want to stay active and have fun!
Children: offered on Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm. Cost $128.00 per term, starting October 29, 2024, to December 17, 2024.
Adults: offered on Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm. Cost $80.00 per term, starting October 29, 2024, to December 17, 2024.
RECREATIONAL BATON AND DANCE LESSONS
Our recreational classes are introductory classes designed to let your children experience the excitement and challenge of the sport of baton twirling as well as an introduction to two dance disciplines, Jazz and Ballet, as well as an introduction to Acro. This is an upbeat class, fun for all involved, supporting positive interaction in a group environment. Children are grouped according to age.
5 & 6 year olds class: offered on Tuesdays, time TBD. Cost $224.00 per term.
7 to 10 year olds class: offered on Tuesdays, time TBD. Cost $224.00 per term.
NEW RECREATIONAL ATHLETE SPECIAL!
New recreational athletes are offered free classes on September 17 and 24, 2024.
Term one program costs $194.00, with a $32.00 savings. The program cost does not include the cost of a baton and t-shirt.
COMPETITIVE BATON LESSONS
This class is for children who have been a part of our program for 1 or more years. Our competitive program offers lessons every Tuesday and twice a month on Saturdays. Children participating in this program attend three competitions a year and train throughout the year individually as well as in a group setting in baton and dance.
Offered on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. & Saturdays (dates/times/locations vary and will be confirmed via email).
Cost $224.00/for term one Tuesdays only (1-hour lesson per week), or $448/for term one Tuesdays only (2-hour lesson per week). It can be paid in two installments.
Saturday lessons are only offered twice a month. Please contact Kim for information on Saturday lessons. * Saturday lessons are optional. Students do not have to do both days but highly recommended.

TERMS
Each term is 14 weeks in length.
Term One – Starts the week of September 17, 2024, until the week of December 17, 2024.
* On the last class of the term (during class time), we will be offering a parents information night. You are encouraged to join and ask questions.
Term Two – TBD
* At the conclusion of term two, we offer a RECITAL. This season’s Recital date will be set at a later time.

Class Attire
Baton: Each class requires your child to have a baton. You will receive your baton on the first evening of class. To find your child’s correct baton size, please measure the length of their arm from the armpit to the end of the middle finger. Please ensure you enter this number on your registration sheet. Cost $40.00.
T-Shirt: Our T-shirts have our name “Pizzazz” on the front. This presents uniformity in the class as well as appropriate attire for movement. Cost $16.00.
Leggings: BLACK leggings are to be worn. They can be any brand.
Shoes: Any dance shoe or a soft-sole running shoe needs to be worn during class times. Dance or ballet shoes are optimal.
Hair: During lessons, hair is to be in a ponytail and pulled back from the face. For children with short hair, we ask that their hair be pulled back from their face.
